I'm not really sure who out there really reads my blog entries. (I don't get many comments - hint! hint!) but if you read this and you know me at all - You know I LOVE Diet Coke! I will say it again for emphasis. I LOVE Diet Coke!!
I read this today on a new blog that I am stalking. I think I failed the test.
Do you use caffeine to facilitate a physical activity (for example: waking up, exercising, having a bowel movement, concentrating)? Yes - definitely waking up - I have it with my first steps out of bed - sad I know. The others not so much.
Do you have to have Diet Coke in the morning? Yes, I think we have established that. Can you substitute hot water with lemon? Are you nuts? NO!
Do you crash or have to have Diet Coke in the afternoon/early evenings? Absolutely!
Do you grow irritable, have headaches, feel disembodied if you miss your Diet Coke fix? Uh? Yeah.
Do you have difficulty falling asleep at night and waking feeling refreshed? I fall asleep almost instantly but waking up refreshed - that's a problem.
Do you need Diet Coke to heighten the effects of other substances, e.g., alcohol, sugar? Maybe, It does seem to heighten the effects of everything in my life.
Do you feel your social routines would suffer without Diet Coke use? Yes, I don't even know who I would be without it. Would my fellow co-workers/addicts still befriend me?
I you answered yes to 2 or more of these, you too, need to examine your relationship with Diet Coke. If you want to.
I will take these results into consideration. And, maybe wean myself.
